Please find installation instructions for Mount Up! Brackets below.

Tools needed for all installations:

Electric Drill

Bubble Level

9/64" Drill Bit

1/8" Allen Key or Hex Driver

3/16" Allen Key or Hex Driver (Handgun Adapter only)

1/4" Hex Driver (ratchet recommended)

Single Unit Vertical Stud Mount

  1. Peel backing from foam inserts (item #'s 7 and 8), and stick onto interior surfaces of buffer clamp assembly (item #2) as shown.
  2. Using a 1/8" allen key or hex driver, bolt the mounting plate (item #1) to the buffer clamp assembly (item #2) using the (2) included flat-head bolts (item #3).
  3. Locate the wood stud where you want to mount your bracket.  Brackets can also be installed into block or concrete walls with appropriate anchors (not included).
  4. Drill a hole into the stud at least 1-3/4" deep using a 9/64" drill bit.
  5. Using the ratchet and included hex bit (item #6), screw one of the 2" tamper resistant screws (item #5) through the mounting plate (item #1), and into the stud - DO NOT TIGHTEN.
  6. Place your bubble level against one of the flat sides of the mounting plate (item #1), and mark the location for the second hole.
  7. Repeat steps #3 and #4 for the second hole location.
  8. Tighten both tamper-resistant screws.
  9. Screw the nylon thumb screw (item #4) into place on the top of the clamp assembly (item #2).  The angle on your buffer tube will rest against this post, preventing any damage to your weapon or bracket while in use.
  10. Open the bracket by depressing the red button, and place your AR15 into the bracket.  The bracket clamps on the buffer tube between the castle nut, and the angled portion of the tube.

Single Unit Horizontal Rail Mount

  1. Locate the two wood studs that will be used to mount your rail system.  Rail systems can be mounted on 16" or 24" centers, depending on model purchased.  Rail system can also be installed into block or concrete walls with appropriate anchors (not included).
  2. Drill a single hole into one of the studs at least 1-3/4" deep using a 9/64" drill bit.
  3. Using the ratchet and included hex bit (item #11), screw one of the 2" tamper resistant screws (item #12) through one of the rail end caps (item #2), and into the stud - DO NOT TIGHTEN.
  4. Mate the rail (item #1) with the pins on the rail cap (item# 2) that you just screwed to the wall.  Mate the second end cap (item #2) with the rail (item #1).  Place your bubble level on the top of the rail (item #1), and mark the locations for the remaining three holes, ensuring that the rail is horizontal, and that the end caps are fully seated against the rail.  After hole locations are marked, remove the second end cap and rail from the already mounted end cap.
  5. Repeat step #3 for the remaining hole locations.
  6. Re-assemble the two end caps (item #2) and the rail (item #1).  Secure the rail system by tigthening the tamper resistant screws (item #12) in all four locations.  Do not overtighten.
  7. Peel backing from foam inserts (item #'s 9 and 10), and stick onto interior surfaces of buffer clamp assembly (item #7) as shown.

  8. Using the tamper resistant screws (item #5) and t-nuts (item #4), secure your buffer tube clamp assembly (item #7) or other components to the rail system in your desired location.
  9. Open the bracket by depressing the red button, and place your AR15 into the bracket.  The bracket clamps on the buffer tube between the castle nut, and the angled portion of the tube.
